PBC Plan

PBC Plan

Postby James Hickman on Tue Dec 11, 2007 6:48 pm

Not a lot happening on the forum at presnt but just to stir debate...
It is now 11 December - almost 3/4 way through the financial year but we have yet to have had our PBC plan approved (or rejected) by the PCT.
It seems a nonsense that we have still not had a plan finalised for a year that is almost over.
If it is rejected then what do we do? I would not be enthusiastic about amending it at this late stage (and in any case it is too late to make any meaningful changes). What happens about work already done? What if we drop out of PBC at this stage because the PCT reject the plan?
Should Wyvern NOW be thinking about a template for next year (if there is going to be a DES next year). Surely a plan should be prepared before the event!

PBC Plans

Postby paul.bearman on Mon Dec 17, 2007 6:47 am

I had understood from the PCT that all PBC plans from consortia practices had been approved so I will be following this up. There is recognition from the PCT that everything is late this year inclduing any data reports. Theere should be a report for the first six months of 2007/08 being issued in early January with a quarter 3 report in February.
We have started to consider what might be in the LES for 2008/09 with the PCT and the LMC.
